Our position
King’s Lodge, operated by Alum Care Limited, has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement sets out the steps we take to make sure neither takes place in our operations or our supply chains.
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in every business relationship.
Our people
All staff have the legal right to work in the UK, and we verify this for every appointment. We recruit fairly, pay at least the National Living Wage, and never charge workers fees to be employed.
Our staff are treated with dignity and respect, and everyone is free to raise concerns about how they or their colleagues are treated.
Our supply chains
We expect the suppliers and agencies we work with to share our commitment. This includes providers of staffing, catering, equipment, and maintenance. We seek to work with partners who uphold the same standards on pay, working conditions, and lawful employment.
Where we identify a risk, we act on it.
Ongoing commitment
This statement is made in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We review our practices regularly and update our approach as our organisation grows.
Any concern about modern slavery connected to King’s Lodge can be raised with our management team on 01737 822221.
